After the hike we spent some time in Pokhara. Tom and I have always loved Pokhara and have returned many times over the years. It had changed as well, but not as much as we have.

This was my view from 2007! It was pretty nice back then!

This is my even better view 2025!

And because the kids did get enough practise with stair climbing we took them to a favorite locals spot called the Fewa Power House. Our guide Ethan had never been there before so it was fun to show him something new.

We also took a the opportunity of recreating a photo of when we brought Jimmy here as a baby.

We flew back to Kathmandu and moved over the Dakhbari Vineyard where they have some guest flats that we stayed in.

It was a sweet time with a lot of dinners and coffees and catching up with old friends. Tom spoke at both the church and at CloudFactory.

We did a bit of shopping and Jimmy even got an eye exam and new glasses.

We visited with church family in a nearby village and just made a ton of new memories that we can now share with our kids.

I hope it won’t be 12 years before we return to our family in Nepal.
